Receiving an offer was like a spark that set me into motion. I went into the interview thinking I would be nervous and sound like a babbling idiot, but in reality, I was so comfortable. I was thrilled by the opportunity to talk about my love of teaching and all of my ideas and experiences from student teaching. After I accepted the offer, I almost immediately started planning. The ideas rolled off of my fingertips as quickly as I could type them. I found myself daydreaming of my perfect classroom and students excited about learning with my excellent plans. I can't wait to get in there and start teaching! If only this innocent dream could last...
